Q:Hi thereI love your Baby Sense books and products. I have sent them to so many preggie friends overseas! Thank you! I have read both your Baby Sense and Sleep Sense books but cannot find a solution to my problem. I am hoping that you will be able to post a reply..... My little girl is 7 1/2 months old (born 2 August 2007). I closely watch her awake times and when I see her becoming tired and rubbing her eyes, I take her to her room (calming colours: yellow and pale brown), close the curtains and the blockout lining, put on her womb CD and gently rock her. She will only be rocked upright and in the...

Q:My name is Sharon, first time mom. Our baby girl Zoe just turned 9 months on the 21st Feb. I can't believe that in 3 months she will be 1 year old. What I also can't believe is that I'm still Breast Feeding. Me being a first time Mom, I've done everything wrong right from the word go. I wish now I had read baby Sense say two weeks before I had Zoe and not 4 months after having her.Where do I start :Since Zoe was two weeks old up until coming back from our holidays in December just gone I have Co-Slept with her. I would put her in our bed, breast feed her until she fell asleep and then...

Q: My 9 month old daughter wakes approximately 5 times a night and will only go back to sleep if she's breastfed. She gets enough to eat during the day (including proteins) but refuses to take her milk feed from a bottle before she falls asleep at bedtime (at 7pm). I suspect that she then wakes up (any time between 9 and 11pm) because she is hungry as she hasn't had a last milk feed before bedtime? I subsequently then breastfeed but then she expects it every time she wakes up. I was thinking of replacing the breastfeed with her dummy every time she wakes but this has also not worked. She...

Q: Our baby will be 9 months old next week and has always slept very well at night. She started sleeping through from 3 months and has done so ever since. My wife puts her to sleep for her day naps by lying with her on a bed until she is asleep and then leaving her and at night she normally falls asleep while drinking her bottle or soon after putting her down in her cot. Suddenly, two nights ago she did not want to fall asleep and cried and performed for about an hour and a half before falling asleep. Last night the same thing except she also started coughing from all the crying and threw up her whole...

Q: My baby is 10 months old and really resists going to sleep at night. I breastfeed him just before bedtime and then put him down (ideally). However, he is very restless, often thrashing with his legs while feeding and trying to move around. Rocking him, lullubies etc. don't work to calm him down, he just cries and arches his back, etc. He starts to calm, but as soon as he realises he might be falling asleep, he starts to cry again. 4 nights out of 7 all that works is to drive him around until he falls asleep and then put him in his cot. He wakes frequently at night and is also restless while...
