There's pretty much nothing that the Johnson's Baby Sense Seminars doesn't offer. There will be expert advice, the chance to meet and mingle with pregnant and new moms, plus – and I love this one – au pairs to look after your kids so you can relax a bit. And what’s a great event without a brilliant goodie bag? Each goodie bag at the seminar is worth more than R800, and includes a Johnson's Baby hamper of essential baby products, Tolo and Baby Sense products and discount vouchers from Naartjie, Poetry and takealot.com to name a few.

There are also amazing prizes including a Stokke Scoot Travel System valued at R13 000, an Angelcare baby sound monitor, Medela breast pump, maternity and newborn photo shoots, other baby essentials and much more.

Most important on the day, there’s massive value in the speakers and the advice that they’ll be sharing. The lineup includes some of SA's top parenting experts, many of whom might be familiar to you from books and magazines. You'll be learning from Meg Faure (occupational therapist and Baby Sense co-author), Sr Ann Richardson (specialist nurse practitioner, author and parent coach), Tina Otte (midwife and special editor of Your Pregnancy magazine) and paediatrician, Dr Claudia Gray. What I like about them is they are down to earth, non judgemental, and totally "get it".

So for the perfect seminar trifecta – information, socializing and treats – head to the Johnson’s Baby Sense Seminar to get spoiled!

Does your baby experience skin chafing and redness?

Skin irritation that leads to chafing is usually caused by excess wetness and friction. Try using JOHNSON’S® Baby Powder on his skin after a bath or nappy change. Never shake baby powder directly onto baby – instead, sprinkle a small amount of the powder onto your hands first, away from baby, then gently rub in between his skin folds. The powder will absorb excess moisture and help reduce friction and chafing. Baby will also have that wonderful, clean baby smell and feel much happier!
