Before the baby arrives, go for marraige counselling! You need to prepare for the new life you are about to have. A baby can wreck the strongest of relationships. The best gift you can give your child is a loving relationship with your partner. For this reason, you have to put yourselves first.

I wish someone had told me that babies haven't read the manual. They do it THEIR way .... and they don't even know who Gina Ford is!

The hardest part about giving birth is not knowing what to expect. I was in labour for 10 hours, 5 of which I went through contractions without any pain medication such as an epidural and then because of the epidural (which the anethetist tried to put in twice whilst I was having contractions) it slowed the labour process down. Then I had to push and push and push and push ... I had a hard time knowing what to do how to do it and all I wanted to do was get it over and done with so I could meet my little nathan that i have wanting to meet since I found out I was pregnant.

How hard the adjustment to your new life would be, and how you would sometimes wish your "old" life back, although you love your baby soooooo much, and how guilty you would feel for feeling like that.
